Expand your business’s wireless network connectivity with the Cisco Meraki MR56 802.11ax 8 x 8 MU-MIMO Dual-Band Access Point. This indoor access point features a high-powered internal antenna that supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with 8 x 8 MU-MIMO, delivering up to 5.9 Gb/s of total speed over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signal frequencies for fast and reliable data connections with compatible devices. It connects to your compatible router or switch through its built-in 5G Ethernet port and operates using up to 30W of power-over-Ethernet (PoE). Alternatively, you can power the device by using a separate DC adapter to plug it into a wall outlet. With its plug-and-play design, the MR56 can be mounted onto a desktop, wall, or ceiling with the included hardware and operates without requiring additional hardware. The access automatically connects to the Meraki cloud service to download configuration information and updates. The wireless signal is secured with WEP and enterprise class WPA, WPA2, and WPA3 encryption.

High-Speed Wireless Network

The MR56 features a high-powered internal antenna that supports 802.11ax Wi-Fi to deliver up to 1147 Mb/s speeds through the 2.4 GHz frequency signal and 4804 Mb/s over the 5 GHz signal for a combined speed of 5.9 Gb/s with compatible devices.
